Creamier is the fifth in a series of contemporary art surveys that began with cream in 1998. Ten international curators have been asked to select the ten emerging artists who, they believe, will change the future of contemporary art.  The ten curators are: Elena Filipovic, Douglas Fogle, Yukie Kamiya, Inés Katzensteink, Chus Martinez, Kitty Scott, Debra Singer, Adam Szymczyk, Catherine Wood and Tirdad Zolghadr.  Each artist's work is extensively illustrated over several pages, and the curator who selected them explains why this work has made a particularly important contribution to the art world. In addition, each curator has selected a key creative work, whether a novel, a film, an artwork, an essay or an artist's studio, that has had a particular influence on emerging art or on their own curatorial practice. These are included in the 'Sources' section. The ten curators have also taken part in a lively roundtable conversation, discussing current issues in contemporary art and sharing the process and motivations behind their selection of ten emerging artists. Curator and artist biographies are provided.
