This publication was conceived as a response to the lack of rigorous critical discourse on contemporary art practices in Australia, as remarked upon by Nicholas Tsoutas, Director of Artspace. It attempts to provide opportunities for a more meaningful and informed engagement with the Biennale of Sydney in particular.
