Cubism in Asia: Unbounded Dialogues is organised as a joint project involving the Singapore Art Museum, The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, The National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea and The Japan Foundation. A series of joint country-surveys were undertaken in preparation for the show and this is the first known attempt to focus on the question of how Cubist trends were received by artists in Asia. Artist biographies are provided in the catalogue.
