This exhibition attempts to focus on the influence of and reaction in Asia to the Cubism movement. It was conceived as a sequel to 'Cubism in Asia: Unbounded Dialogues', which toured in Tokyo, Seoul, and Singapore in 2005-06. For the current show, the organisers have reconfigured the works on exhibit, adding new works, and redesigned the display from theme-based to country-based, adapting the original exhibition for the audience in Europe. A chronology of major art events in Asia, and artist biographies are provided in the catalogue.
