This is a thesis written on the art of Cai Guoqiang and Xu Bing, including writing on the joint exhibition of the two artists, curated by the author, as part of his masters degree programme in curatorial studies at Bard College, New York. Bibliography and a selected bibliography of the artists are included. Appendexes include biographical information on the artists and checklist of the exhibition.
