By including works in different artistic media such as painting, photography, installations, video and multimedia, we aimed to explore the pulse and direction of contemporary Korean art from different sides and catch a glimpse of what the next century may bring in Korean artistic expression.' - abstract from preface by Huang Tsailang, Director of Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
