Forty artists selected from the contemporary photography scene are presented by country – Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan. The exhibition forms the larger part of a two-part theme of the 2008 Daegu Photo Biennale, 'Then & Now - Memories of the Future'. The "Then" part of the biennale shows images from a hundred years ago. Three volumes of the Daegu Photo Biennale 2008: Then & Now - Memories of the Future, Korean-Chinese-Japanese Contemporary Photographs, and Memories of the Past were published and sold as one set.
