Catalogue published in conjunction with the Special Exhibitions of the 2012 Daegu Photo Biennale from September to October 2012 at the Daegu Art Factory and the Daegu Culture and Arts Center, South Korea.

Part one of the Special Exhibition comprises of 'The Youth Code', 'Repositioned Personal', 'The Science of Photography', 'Dance on a Thin Line', and 'How a City Works'.

'The Youth Code' brings together work done by photographers dealing with a variety of issues related to pre-adults. 'Repositioned Personal' presents artists whose works explore the relationship between personal narrative and the shifting concepts of public and private space. 'The Science of Photography' showcases the performativity of photographers, and knowledge about photography. 'Dance on a Thin Line' is about the problematic boundary between fiction and documentary. And 'How a City Works' constructs a new discourse on the city through multi-media works such as photography, video, and installation.

Please note that only artists of Asian descent are indexed. Includes artists' biographies. Programme guide, and catalogues of the Biennale and the Main Exhibition are also in AAA's collection.
