Developed by Hasnul Jamal Saidon and Niranjan Rajah, E-Art Asean Online extends the aims of the 1st Electronic Art Show to the Southeast Asian region as a whole while responding to the instantaneous connectivity of the Internet, which signals the end of physically rooted notins of community, culture, economics, politics and art. This book includes two sections of E-Art Asean Online, 'Electronic Journal' and 'E-Art Asean Database'. The objective of 'Electronic Journal' is to nurture scholarship and discourse on electronic art in the region. 'E-Art Asean Database' on the other hand provides comprehensive information about practicing e-art artists. The searchable Database is organized by artist's name and focuses on profiles of artists who work in the Southeast Asian Region producing electronic art.
