Catalogue published in conjunction with the titled group exhibition at Tang Contemporary Art, Beijing in 2009. It aims to generate dialogue about art and curating between Britain and China, by presenting both well-known and emerging artists from the UK. The works featured combine the aesthetic and conceptual in a range of media. Curator Katie Hill notes: 'In "English Lounge" a geo-linguistic space is created where interactions and communications take place literally, virtually and symbolically.' Biographies are included.
Other participating artists include Adam Chodzko, Corby & Baily, Langlands & Bell, Little Artists (John Cake & Darren Neave), Martin Creed and Thomson & Craighead.
