Catalogue of solo exhibition by Cheo Chai-Hiang at Sculpture Square in 2005. Cheo is considered to be an extremely versatile artist experimenting with different media, often crossing boundaries between the visual, literary, performance and concept. As a multi-disciplinary artists, he continues to redefine and re-examine concepts and thought processes in art making. In this solo exhibition, Cheo features pieces and proposals which were either rejected, erased or mislaid between 1972 and 2004. Another section of this exhibition features new pieces which are either informed by, or related to, issues raised by those rejected or erased pieces and have been made specifically to re-visit and re-contextualise such issues.
