Participating artists of this exhibition were born between 1955 and 1961. They are from a generation who knew both old ways of Japanese culture and accelerating development of the new era. However, they did not cling to the tradition. They were not influenced by the new era blindly. The organizer wishes that the exhibition provides a chance to reconsider those two eras.
