King Fen-hwa is a self-taught painter who started her career in the 1980s. After her first solo exhibition in 1984, she became one of the brands in the Taiwan art market with no negative affect being a woman artist. She changed her painting style in around 2000, from her old style which she established in the early 1990s, and started painting a weightless water world floating between reality and illusion.
This catalogue was published in conjunction with her solo exhibition at Eslite Gallery in March 2004. In this exhibition, she showed her paintings completed in Japan, where she moved to temtatively along with her husband.
Apart from a short essay by Victoria Lu, a note by the artist is included.
