This essay collection is published on the occasion of the above captioned solo exhibition at Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, from 10 May to 30 June 2002. Curators Dr. Pan Hsiao-hsueh and Huang Chin-cheng writes to expound E.Chen's endeavours in mediating the paradox between the transcendence and the mundane. Michael Darling's essay traces the artistic development of the artist. Dominic Molon analyses E. Chen's work in light of the fluid sense of change that have already been accustomed in everyday life.
