The present artist book was published in conjunction with Simryn Gill's participation at the 2006 Singapore Biennale. Guide to the Murals at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station, Singapore was created in response to public spaces which are in daily use by a broad range of local communities, and it deals with the myths, histories and patterns of belief embedded within the public realm. The book includes texts about the station's history, architecture and murals and snap shots of the locals in the building.
