This is the catalogue for the exhibition ‘Heart of Darkness’ held at the Kroller-Muller Museum in the Netherlands in 1995. Bringing together the works of fifteen contemporary artists coming from all over the world, this exhibition was ‘designed to make visible what the current debate about global art and cultural identities carefully conceals a priori.’ Introduction to the exhibits and biographical information of the contributors and artists are provided.
