Emil Goh moved to Seoul from Australia as a SSamziespace artist-in-residence a few years back (2003) and writes about the lack of international coverage of Korea's popular culture.  He attributes this to the lack of bilingual publications and the lack of English speakers in the country in general.  Goh enjoys the local flavors of Seoul--the traditional markets and manifestations of the "real Seoul."
