Context
Founded in 2004 by Zhu Luming, Vis-a-Vis art lab is an independent non-profit art organisation based in Xiamen. According to their website, Vis-a-Vis art lab aimed to be a platform for artistic collaboration as well as a bridge between the art industry and the general public. They have organised workshops, lectures, exhibitions, performances, and residencies. Xiamen Vis-a-Vis art lab has ceased activity since 2018.
