Kampung is a theatre-arts festival since 1989 providing 'a platform for experimental and avant-garde Malay theatre', organized by Teater Ekamatra, a non-profit theatre company. Kampung 2000 'features ten young artists addressing varied issues and themes rooted in Malay past, present and future' through short performance and videos taken place in various locations at The Substation.
