The catalogue was published in conjunction with the 2017 edition of the Kuala Lumpur Biennale. The exhibition was divided into three sections related to the theme 'Be Loved'; The first section, Heart of Matter features selected works featuring the theme of love from the National Collection; Stories of Love exhibit curated stories of love based on inspiring individuals and true events that embody love and compassion in action; and the last section, Petals of Love, features selected and commissioned works implicating sub-themes of love by contemporary and creative art practitioners from Malaysia and South East Asian countries.
