The National Taiwan Museum was undergoing renovation. Suggestions had it that the statues of Kodama Gentaro and Goto Shinpei should be restored to their original place at the niches in the main entrance. But people opposing this idea counter-argued that this would remind people of the insignia of the Sino-Japanese War.
