'Korea Episode' is a project exploring the individualized collective or collectivized individual by making often overlooked aspects of Korean society into episodes. Artists participating in the exhibition 'Korea Episode 1 _ The Phantom Menace', curated by Bi-ho Ryu and Kye-ryoon Han, all attempt to communicate hidden or micro stories within the larger plot through single-channel video works. The show was held from 1 to 30 January 2008 at Alternative Space Loop, and included 5 works by Se-jin Kim, Bi-ho Ryu, Ji-a Chang, Hye-jeong Cho and Kye-ryoon Han, contained in this DVD.
