Kyungwoo Chun who was born in Seoul, and graduated in photography from the Chung-Ang University in Korea in 1992. Chun has been working on portraits since his first solo exhibition back in Seoul in 1994. Viewers will find in his works physiognomies of young male and female in a translucent form, making it unclear whether these faces are real persons or phantoms. Featured in this catalogue are works completed between 1998-2001. Artist biography is included.
