Yuyu Yang is among the leading contemporary sculptors in Taiwan. He is also simultaneously a landscape architect, art theorist and educator. The present catalogue for Yang’s solo exhibition held at the Hong Kong Arts Centre features mainly his laser art and lifescape sculpture. Included in this publication are a number of writings by Professor Yang on art education, modern sculpture, laser art and lifescape sculpture. There are also contributions from Chang Tsong-zung and Ian Findlay. Biographical information of Yang is provided.
