According to the curator of the project, Lin Shumin, Limbo Zone 'explores the Taiwanese state of flux as a reflection of the frantic transformation taking place throughout the world. A gulf is constantly, rapidly enlarging between our utopian dreams and reality. The Limbo Zone formed by this disparity hovers in an unstable state of oscillation, expanding continually like a dark void, in a period of transition that seems limitless and nightmarishly murky. Amidst this sense of instability, suspended between dreaming and awakening, people find themselves unable to touch solid ground, and can only grasp the soft-focus cognitive fragments floating between perception and sensation'.

The four chosen artists express this state of 'Limbo' through various media including installation, photography and interactive projects with the audience. Introduction of each of the pieces as well as artist biographies are included.
