Catalogue of Srey Bandol's exhibition at Reyum Institute in 2006, featuring his large scale pencil drawings of temples in Angkor. As noted by Ashley Thompson, Looking at Angkor is an artistic project that 'aims to evoke at once a relationship with and a distance from Looting at Angkor, an illustrated catalogue of objects stolen from the Angkor Conservation compound published under the auspices of ICOM (International Council of Museums). The series of drawings presented here was originally commissioned on the basis of a proposition made by the artist, Srey Bandol, to tell a story of looting at Angkor... These drawings bear witness to the search of a Cambodian artist for expression amidst the monuments of Cambodia's past in a turbulent present.'
