'MAD stands for Making Art Different. It is the educational programme of the non-profit contemporary arts organisation AIT (Arts Initiative Tokyo). Over 130 students enrol annually in the seven courses offered. MAD looks closely at contemporary art issues within a broad inter-disciplinary context. As an independent programme MAD courses are flexible and friendly.'-excerpt from inner-cover of the booklet.

This booklet provides information on the seven courses—Curation Intensive, Curation+Project, Curation+Art History, Artist, Audience, Magazine, Critical Readers—from the MAD program organised by AIT in 2005. Includes program outline, course detail for enrolment and staff biographies.
