“毛，就是我——陳侗的一個水墨計劃”
“毛”，不是這個展覽的關鍵詞，作品不是關於毛澤東的歷史或文學性的一般敘述，穿越宏大歷史的表象，獲得個體與時代的不同對應關係，才是關鍵。
“水墨”，也不是關鍵詞，在陳侗近年以水墨為主要面貌的創作中，貫穿著的對水墨的敘事性所進行的探討，才是關鍵。
“東方紅”，作為配合展覽的音樂，同樣不是關鍵，它出自歐洲年輕音樂人之手，交代出對“東方紅”旋律進行消解的不可能性，才是關鍵。
最終我們會發現，陳侗製造的圖像完全不必虛構人和物，他只是連上他們之間的關係，而作為觀者的我們，也就身在其中了。是為關鍵。
