To this day, the phenomenon of abstract art in Shanghai has caught the deepest attention in the art circles at home and abroad.' Biographical information of the artists, and the transcription (in Chinese only) of a discussion concerning this exhibition, chaired by Li Xu and with participation from the artists, are included.
