Catalogue published on the occasion of Yangachi's solo exhibition at Insa Art Space in 2008.

'Yangachi's third solo exhibition, "Middle Corea: Yangachi Episode I" is about a fictional country, Middle Corea and Gim's factory.

Mr. Gim's factory has manufactured the 'Kamikaze Bike' for the past 50 years. This bike is specially designed with a strong missile attached to it and is used for special missions. These bikes are supplied to riders who are registered with Middle Korea authorized licenses. Sales take place under only one condition: that, once they receive the order to do so, they should destroy all systems that are relevant to said orders.

'Kamikaze Riders' are faithful to their everyday lives, yet they store knowledge and skills to fulfill their special tasks on that fateful day. All their capabilities acquired from their routine lives are accumulated and reserved for 'Kamikaze Riding'. 'Kamikaze Riders' are interested in all systems that record and monitor them, and one day, they will destroy all systems.

On that one fateful day, all 'Kamikaze Riders' will carry out Operation 'Kamikaze Riding' to destroy all systems and a new world will be ushered in. '
