This is a catalogue of the titled exhibition featuring in-depth essays on the status of women and their art in Taiwan, together with images of the exhibited work. Artist biographies, selected bibliography and a chronology documenting important dates of women's art both in Taiwan and the world are also included.

The expectation of this exhibition and its accompanying seminars, was 'to interpret the unique spirit and aesthetic goals of art by women through the various cultural and historical analyses presented, then proceed to explore the interactive relationships between women, their spiritual lives, and their environment through their perspectives on nature, society, art and themselves'. — Mun-Lee Lin, Director, Taipei Fine Arts Museum
