Album of catalogues and writings published on the occasion of the first exhibition took place in Museum of National Taipei University of Education (MoNTUE). The exhibition attempts to revisit the art history of Taiwan under the Japanese occupation, the period that witnessed the first group of artists who specialised in modern Western paintings.
Includes catalogue essays, catalogues for 'Painters and Self-portraits' and Tsai Ming-liang's work Transformation, poster for the exhibition, as well as 17 separate profiles of individual participating artists.
