Since the first 'MOT Annual' in 1999, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo has presented a group exhibition every year to introduce the latest trends in Japanese Art. This year's exhibition features six artists whose works are a result of close observation of their immediate surroundings and everyday life. Though they seem uneventful at first glance, they contain a variety of ideas and many possible readings. List of works and artists' biographies included.
