Mute Squad:No Base Stope Rape is a zine compiling the memorial, protest and silent standing drawings in Tokyo on 5 June 2016. Circulated verbally among Okinawa and the Korean Peninsula the symbol of the butterfly is the messenger between the dead and the living. A chain of butterfly silouhette drawings was suspended and installed around Shinjuku southeast exit, Tokyo Japan; In remembrance of rape and sexual harrassment from the United States Militarization in Okinawa. The zine includes a timeline of the United States Militarization in Okinawa accusations of sexual rape, harrassment and violence against women, from 1945 and 2018. Timeline sources are: Okinawa Times, Okinawa government sources and an Anti-forgiveness towards United States Militarization in Okinawa feminist activist group.
