Published on the occasion of an exhibition of Shaih Lifa's linocuts and zincographs dating back to the period between 1964 and 1974, during his career as a printmaker. Covering several series, including works with religious themes, they signify the transformation of his ideas about life and his reaction to art trends. In Shaih's catalogue essay he reminisces on his printmaking journey and accounts for his move from the role of an artist to critic. An essay by Lin Hsueh-ching and the Shaih's chronology is also included.
