‘Out of The Dust is a visual and research journal first created in 2017 by Chu Hoi Ding. It documented the idea development, research and material testing for her graduation piece ‘Out of Dust’, a video installation presenting the inner connection between the situated self and clay in the society.
It is reprinted and re-arranged as a reflective practice for the ‘silent period’ between Post-2014 and Pre-2019 in Hong Kong.'—description provided author
