This publication is produced on the occasion of the exhibition 'Picture in Motion' held at Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Fine Arts, July-September 2004. The exhibition features 10 Japanese artists who are using moving images which are critical not only for still pictures but also for a century-long known motion picture called cinema or movie as show-business.
