This set of 11 discs contain video documentation of 'Platform', a two-part exhibition showcasing some of Thailand's most dynamic emerging artists and two visiting Australian artists (Alex Davies & Ryan Griffith) working in non-traditional formats. 'Platform: About Installation' is comprised of interactive installations by five Thai artists that reflect on the current state of Thai art and and culture and its place in the global field; 'Platform: New Media Lab' showcases collaborative works by Thai artists and Australian artists working in sound and other multimedia formats. These were held at the Queen's Gallery and the Art Center of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok respectively and transform the spaces of art into spaces for exchange, play and critical reflection on contemporary global culture. Held in conjunction with the exhibitions was the seminar 'The Art of Documentation', the sound and performance art event 'Platform LIVE' and 'Platform Showcase', an interactive art collaboration with SOI Project held at the FAT Festival.
