This catalogue introduces 'Priceless', an art project created by motiroti and commissioned by the Serpentine Gallery, London, in concert with the Exhibition Road Cultural Group and Platform for Art. Curators from partner museums and institutions collaborated with motiroti to nominate precious objects from their collections. This was followed by a series of "roadshows" or one-off gatherings, where artists, curators, experts and people from different communities collectively explored what "priceless" meant to them. The project culminated in a series of multimedia installations combining video and graphics to convey the unique narratives generated. These were exhibited at Exhibition Road sites in August 2006.
