Shirley Tse has been working with plastic in her artworks, and in this new installation, Power Towers, which consists of six sculptures made of high-density polyethylene linked with plastic wires and plugged with 'Silly Putty', Tse brings together the history of plastics, electricity, technology, and creative thought.

This exhibition is the 22nd in the Pomona College Museum of Art's Project Series, an on-going programme of small exhibitions that brings to the Pomona College campus art that is experimental and that introduces new forms, techniques, or concepts.

With a foreword by Rebecca McGrew. Artist's biography is included.
