The book was published in conjunction with the 2012 Asian Arts Space Network which includes a group exhibition by twelve artists, and a series of workshops and seminars organised by art spaces in Asia. The book contains documentation of the exhibition as well as collected essays by Jaemin Chol, Patrick D. Flores, Prapon Kumjim, Lau Kinwah, Charles Merewether, Soojin Park, Motoko Uda, Wang Shenghung, Yi Ying, and Ardi Yunanto.
