Publicly Speaking featured six young artists from Korea and Japan. They presented their exploration and experiences while they were staying in Asia's two megalopolises, namely Seoul and Tokyo, in which diverse cultures are fused and globalization process is being accelerated. In this exhibition, the definition of 'public' is not limited to the sites where public arts are located. Instead, it is inclusive of the invisible and abstract space of ideas. Based on their difference in identities, these artists drew a diverse range of interpretations on the cultural meaning of 'public' and its boundaries.

With artist biography. Images of works are accompanied by individual texts.
