This is the catalogue of Rashid Rana's solo exhibition at Nature Morte in New Delhi; Chatterjee & Lal in Mumbai and Bose Pacia in New York during 2004-2005. Featured in the exhibition are prints that are digitized and recomposed from a collage of contemporary advertisements. From a distance, these prints seem to show landscapes, architecture, the face of a Bollywood star. On coming closer, the view is transformed. Each image is composed of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of smaller images that act like 'pixels' for the large image they compose. Artist biography is provided in the catalogue.
