The present report brings together the discussions and thoughts generated from the brainstorming sessions taken place from 21-24 December 2003 in Chiangmai, Thailand, among members of the Mekong Art and Cultural Collaboration project. These brainstorming sessions resulted in formulation of the Mekong Lab project.
The report is compiled by Chiangmai University Art Museum & Project 304.
Mekong Lab - with a time-frame of 2004-2006 - is an art and cultural collaborative project among Mekong region artists and art related professionals with the goals to organise events that encourage collaboration, exchange, dialogue and process in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, China, Cambodia and Myanmar. The inaugural project – Mekong Lab project, Thailand version – will be held from August 18 - September 30 2004.
