Joint exhibition held at the Lopez Memorial Museum on 7 May - 16 June 2001. "The works of Nona Garcia and Norberto Noldan meet on the site of the human body," (Cruz) where the incision of the surgeon's knife opens up the realms of possibilities, "a rupture that allows entry onto ground where cultural dislocutions and dislocations are made possible...both artists converge, serendipitously, on the path of healing, a space of encounter which enacts and captures the object..." Garcia works from the perspective of feminist art discourse, whereas Norberto Roldan addresses his concerns from a colonial art critique. Essays by curator, Joselina Cruz and art critic, Laura Fan.
