Presenting 17 artists of international acclaim from 10 countries across the globe who are vigorously (and often provocatively) asking the question: What makes the truth true? Through a plethora of artistic approaches and creative styles, the artists playfully investigate perceived truths in what we consider to be knowledge. Marian Pastor Roces, Co-curator of the exhibition wrote, 'Science Fictions presents artists who make or mimic science fictions, expose science to be fiction, meditate on fiction and science, question or rebuke science to unravel its complex 'genetic' entwinement with fiction, embrace fiction to enter science.'

This catalogue is published on the occasion of the above mentioned exhibition organized by Earl Lu Gallery as part of Singapore Arts Festival 2003. Images of works in the catalogue are accompanied by texts written by Marian Pastor Roces.
