This is the monograph of Shilpa Gupta who is known for creating artwork using interactive websites, video, gallery environments and public performances to probe and examine subversively such themes as consumer culture, exploitation of labour, militarism and human rights abuse. Featured in the book are Your Kidney Supermarket, Xeno-bio-lab.com, Blame, Blessed-Bandwidth.net, and her controversial project which was rejected by the Scheepvaartmuseum in Amsterdam in 2002.
