This is the catalogue for Shirley Tse's exhibition at Para/Site Art Space in 2000. As the title suggests, the exhibits include photographs and sculptures made of different kinds of plastic, such as bubblewrap, vinyl, styrofoam and polystyrene, which fascinated Tse and provided her with 'an unbound space for thought and action'. The essay by Draza Fratto O'Brien offers an insightful study of this feature of Tse's sculptures. A biography of the artist is also included in the present publication.
