This is the catalogue for Taiwanese artist Chu Chiahua's exhibition held at MOMA Contemporary in Fukuoka, Japan, in 2000. Red pineapple motifs are attached to the top of each of the photographs depicting country or urban scenery from Guilin, Beijing, Venice and New York. These motifs seem a little strange as they bear no relation to any of the scenery at all. Yet, we may look at these as one of the artist's means in incorporating Eastern elements in his works so as to project cultural dignity through art. This catalogue includes a biography of the artist.
