This publication is produced on the occasion of solo exhibition of Taiwanese artist Keng Hao Kang of the same title held at Galerie Pierre from February to April 2015.
The exhibition, featuring Keng's work produced when he studied aboard, can be regarded as the artist's experience of travel, as well as a record and evolution of how he let his past memories and the present regenerate an emotional link. The artist has always been interested in how to pick up outdated images and give them a new vitality. Through his planar paintings, installations, and other forms of media, Keng extends the connotations and meanings of objects in different time frames, forming a slightly aloof and endless dialogue amongst the artist, the inner self, and viewers.
